Reid Out

Nivel 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

A player in middle position opened and Terrance Reid called before Tom Dean three-bet in the cutoff. Both opponents called.

Action checked to Dean on the flop of 592 and he continued for 10,000. The middle position player folded and Reid, who had spun up his chips nicely since a brutal cooler against Dean that saw him down to three big blinds, moved all in for slightly more. Dean called.

Terrance Reid: 76 All in
Tom Dean: QQ

Reid's outs increased on the 7 turn but the 4 river bricked off to mark his elimination.

"It feels like I should win," Reid laughed as he studied the board.

Bartholdi an Early Casualty

Nivel 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Joseph Bartholdi was one of the earliest casualties of Day 1c after he got to the river in a heads-up pot on a board of 94Q10Q and called off as his opponent put him all in.

The opponent showed AQ for trip queens and it was good to beat out the pair of tens of Bartholdi with J10.

Jennifer Frankenstein

Antonio Pereira raised to 800 under the gun and Jamie Sanchez three-bet to 2,300 in early position. Nick Jivkov in the cutoff and Jennifer Frankenstein on the button called as action went back to Pereira. "I have to see the flop, at least," he said as he also called.

The flop came AJ3 and Sanchez moved all in. Jivkov folded, while Frankenstein quickly called for 24,500. Pereira also got out of the way.

Jennifer Frankenstein: AK All in
Jamie Sanchez: AQ

Frankenstein had Sanchez dominated with her king-kicker and stayed in front on the 5 turn and 10 river to double up, leaving Sanchez on a short stack.

The river was the 4 and Davidson, munching on a sandwich, tossed out a bet of 8,600. His opponent quickly flashed the A and mucked.

"There's something menacing about a guy eating a sandwich while he bets into you. Almost like a super villain," tablemate Terrance Reid said.
