In a blind versus blind battle, Jeff Platt got his last 28,000 in the middle and was up against Terrance Reid.

"Good game, Jeff," Reid told Platt heading to the flop, which came 5♦5♣Q♠ as Platt didn't have too much to worry about after flopping a full house. The turn, though, was the K♦ and Reid picked up outs going to the river but he missed the J♠ and Platt doubled up.

"I would've seriously considered retiring," Platt said.

"I really wanted to send Jeff into retirement," Reid added as he handed over the pot.

Miller, Russell Chop Up Yu

Daniel Yu was already all in from under the gun with around 50,000 in the pot as Leonard Miller and Michael Russell built a side pot on the turn with the board showing Q♣3♦4♦2♠.

Russell then got his last 20,000 in the middle from the button as Miller put both players at risk from the big blind. Yu had J♦10♦ for a flush draw, while Russell had 6♣5♦ and Miller showed an identical 6♦5♣.

The river was the 2♠ and Miller and Russell chopped up Yu's chips. "I was in the big blind. What's your excuse?" Miller joked with Russell after the hand.

Moorman Spikes the River to Bust Tomkins

Chris Moorman raised to 3,000 in middle position and Marcus Tomkins called in the cutoff, as did the big blind.

The flop came Q♣7♦6♠ and Moorman bet 4,000. Only Tomkins called to see the J♣ turn, where Moorman moved all in.

Tomkins had around 28,000 remaining and tanked for several minutes until tablemate Mario Colavita called the clock. Tomkins eventually committed his last chips and turned over Q♠9♠ for top pair, while Moorman had K♣6♣ for a flush draw.

The river was the 9♣ and Moorman completed his flush to send a stunned Tomkins to the rail. "It was a nice call," a tablemate consoled Tomkins on his way to the exit.
