Faramarz Ghorbani and Karapet Galstyan built a pot of around 10,000 as they went to the turn on a board of A367. Ghorbani then bet 7,500 from the small blind and Galstyan called in the hijack.

The river was the 9 and Ghorbani moved all in. Galstyan called for 17,000 and Ghorbani showed AK for top pair. Galstyan had AJ as he headed back to the registration desk for a fresh starting stack.

Rodriguez Fills Up on Gorba

Heads-up on a board of 61073, Montan Rodriguez bet 2,000 from the big blind and Matej Gorba called on the button.

The river was the 7 and Rodriguez bet another 6,000. Gorba quickly called, then mucked when Rodriguez showed 76 for a full house to win the pot.

Dahoud's Overbet Wins It

Action was caught on a flop of 457 in a hand between Wallid Dahoud in the big blind and Faramarz Ghorbani in late position.

With 1,500 in the pot, both players checked to the 3 turn. With four cards to a straight on the board, Dahoud led out with an overbet of 3,300 and Ghorbani quickly folded.

Piderit Leaves Faro on Fumes

Around 20,000 was already in the middle as Caleb Piderit and Timothy Faro went heads-up on a board of 64362. Piderit then moved all in for 16,000 from the cutoff.

Faro was in the big blind and tanked for a few minutes before calling. Piderit turned over 55 for a straight and Faro mucked.

Kowal Can't Get Tseng Off a Pair

Graydon Kowal bet 500 from the cutoff on a flop of 873 and Justin Tseng called in the big blind.

The turn was the A and Tseng led out for 1,000. Kowal called and the 5 fell on the river.

Tseng then checked and Kowal bet 3,000. "I can't fold this," Tseng said as he called with JJ.

"I was open-ended," Kowal said as he surrendered the pot.

Medved Turns a Set

Eric Medved played a heads-up pot in middle position against Gerald Peltola on the button.

With the board reading 2K437, Medved bet 10,000 and Peltola gave it some thought before calling. Medved showed 33 for a turned set of threes and it was good to win the pot.

Baldwin Turns the Nuts

Action picked up on the turn in a hand between Miguel Capriles in the small blind and Eric Baldwin in the big blind.

With the board reading 38109, Capriles led out with a bet of 2,000 Baldwin called.

The river brought the 5 and Capriles checked. Baldwin fired out a bet of 7,200 and Capriles made the call.

Baldwin turned over QJ for the nut straight and was awarded the pot.
