Donnelly Doubles With a Boat
Nivel 13
: Blinds 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Arriving at the table with the flop showing 6♦6♠9♠7♠ and Conor O'Rourke having placed 50,000 across the betting line from the button. James Donnelly raised to 150,000 from early position with 30,000 behind. O'Rourke shoved, and Donnelly snap-called.
James Donnelly: 9♣9♦
Conor O'Rourke: 7♥7♦
It was a boat over boat situation with Donnelly having the bigger one. O'Rourke needed the last seven in the deck to send Donnelly home. It didn't come though as the 3♠ fell on the river and Donnelly had won a massive pot.
