Carlin Picks Off the Bluff
Nivel 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Thomas Carlin opened the action with a raise to 1,500 from the cutoff, and was called by the player in the big blind.
The flop came 7♦J♥4♣ and the big blind check-called a bet of 1,400 from Carlin.
Both players checked after the Q♦ on the turn, which brought the 2♣ on the river. The big blind then bet out 3,300, which was snap called by Carlin. The big blind tabled 6♣5♣ for a missed straight draw and six high, and Carlin showed Q♥9♠ to take the pot with his pair of queens.
