Brian Brown Eliminated in 18th Place ($2,240)
Nivel 20
: Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Smriti Dewari raised to 60,000 from under the gun, and when it folded to Brian Brown he defended his big blind.
The flop came 8♥Q♠A♣ and Brown check-called a bet of 85,000 from Dewari.
After the 9♠ on the turn, Brown checked to Dewari, who bet to put Brown all in for his stack of 350,000, which he snap called.
Brian Brown: A♠A♦
Smriti Dewari: A♥10♣
Brown set the perfect trap with his pocket aces, looking poised to double up. However, the river had other plans, bringing the J♠ and giving Dewari a straight to crack Brown’s set of aces, eliminating him in brutal fashion.
