Day 1b and 1c Kick Off at 11:00 and 6:00 in Tulsa
A $100,000 prize pool guarantee sits with the crown jewel of the RunGood Poker Series $800 Main Event, which yesterday's 140 entrants saw a near making of that guarantee. With two flights beginning today at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. respectively, time will tell to see just how big the tournament prize pool will grow.
Leading the way is Nathan Kimbrow who ended his day with 521,000. Kimbrow secured himself his first ever RGPS cash on top of the massive stack he bagged. Rosmel Munoz was the one who ended to sit in second place by night’s end with 433,000. Munoz has seen a couple of deep RGPS main event runs over the past few years, but with his stack today he looks to cut a little deeper here than he did at the other stops. Others that bagged were Ashley “PokerFaceAsh” Frank (365,000), Brant Jolly (347,000), Andrew Todhunter (191,000), and poker tournament director Michael “Murph” Murphy (163,000).

Three RGPS Main Event champions played yesterday as defending champion Eric Bunch fired along with Iman Al-Saden and William McCracken. They will be joining lots of local legends today like Daniel “Donk” Hughes, John “Cracker” Reynolds, and Michael Perrone who won the Deepstack event earlier this week.
Players will sit down with 30,000 in starting chips with blinds beginning at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Levels will last 30 minutes each with a 15-minute break at the conclusion of every four levels. At the start of Level 9, registration will be closed and players will continue to play until 12.5% of the field remains to bag up for Sunday January 26th. Those who do not bag in the first flight will have ample opportunity to play in the second flight, which will have an identical structure.
