McIntosh Slow Plays Aces and Reaps the Rewards
Nivel 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
A player from under the gun raised to 2,200 from under the gun, which was called by Aaron McIntosh in the hijack, and the big blind.
After the flop came 6♥9♥6♠ it was checked to McIntosh who fired out 3,500. The big blind called, and the under the gun player folded.
The turn brought the 10♦ and both players checked to see the A♣ on the river. The big blind then bet all in for his stack of 10,500, which was snap called by McIntosh. The big blind tabled A♥J♠ for two pair, aces and sixes, but McIntosh turned over A♠A♦ for a full house, aces full of sixes to take the pot and eliminate his opponent.
