Britz Gets Some Value Off Mery
Nivel 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Eduarte Duarte raised to 3,500 from under the gun and was called two ways by Lee Thaver and Didier Mery out of the big blind.
On the K♥Q♣8♠ flop, all three players checked to the K♦ turn. Renier Britz bet 6,000 when checked to and Mery was the only caller.
The 4♥ river saw Britz bet 50,000 out of turn as he had not seen Mery check. Once the French player checked, Britz's bet stood and Mery folded to get shown Q♠Q♦ for queens full of kings.
