SM Doubles Through Appel
Nivel 16
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
The floor was called over to table 13 as Ronit Chamani insisted that both hands had to be shown at an all-in and call.
The board showed A♠J♥7♣A♥4♦ and Hennie Appel had jammed into SM, who called all-in.
Appel showed K♣10♦ for a busted gutshot and SM doubled with the A♦6♥ for trips aces.
"I thought he had less," Appel concluded.
Moments later, one of the players from Mozambique was sent to the rail and the field was reduced to the last 70 hopefuls.
