Once it was on Appel, he asked for a count and the all-in for Kramer was exactly 760,000, one chip short of Karim. Three time banks later, Appel called to create a three-way all-in.

The dramatic roller coaster that was to follow gathered a small rail around the outer table. The K♥8♣6♦ flop pulled Karrim and Appel into the lead. Kramer then improved to a set with the 10♦ turn but the Q♦ on the river gave Appel the nut flush for the double knockout.
Since Kramer was covered by a single chip, he took 16th place for ZRA 68,840 and Karrim finished in 15th place for ZAR 81,855.
Giovanni Zanette limped the button with the 6♠6♣ and Colin Horgan did so with the 5♠4♠ in the small blind. Edgar Antezana then jammed the Q♣10♣ from the big blind for 470,000 and Zanette called, Horgan folded.
The Q♥J♠9♦K♦3♦ board gave Antezana a straight for the double.
Ahmed Karrim has lost more than half of his stack while Ronit Chamani chipped up. The stacks are now more even behind Nic Ioannoy, who thrones atop on the outer table by a wide margin.
Wessel Conradie raised to 100,000 on the button and Giovanni Zanette three-bet jammed the superior stack from the big blind. His opponent leaned back in disgust, sighed and mulled it over. Conradie then called for 915,000 total.

The A♠8♣2♣A♥8♥ board improved Conradie on each street and he left Zanette among the shorter stacks on the feature table.
Ahmed Karrim check-called the 5♦3♣3♥ flop for 150,000 when Nic Ioannoy bet from the button. They checked the 2♥ turn and Karrim check-called the A♣ river for another 300,000. Ioannoy tabled the A♦A♥ for another hidden pair of aces to scoop a big pot with aces full, surpassing Karrim on the outer table.
Hennie Appel raised to 100,000 in middle position and Muzamil Gothey then jammed for the 265,000 he had behind one seat over on the other side of the dealer. All players behind folded and Appel quickly called.

The 7♥3♦2♦ flop saw Conradie check and Whitelaw bet 60,000. Antezana called and Conradie then jammed for 540,000 and
