Brooks Finds Some River Value Against Zanette

Giovanni Zanette opened to 45,000 with the A♦8♦ and Harold Brooks three-bet to 100,000 with K♥K♦ two seats over in middle position. They headed to the A♠5♥4♥ flop on which Zanette check-called for 50,000 and checked again the 10♦ on the turn. Brooks fired a second barrel for 90,000 and received a second check-call.
There was one further twist to the story as the K♠ river on which Zanette checked. Brooks bet 150,000 and his opponent grabbed some of his time bank extensions to mull it over some more. Zanette eventually called and was shown the bad news.
