The under the gun player opened, but Olivier Brun to his left three-bet to 30,000. Steve Lacomblez four-bet all-in from the next seat, then all the other players folded to the under the gun player who jammed. Brun folded, saying that he had queens.

The board of 451073 kept Lacomblez's kings in the lead, and he sent his opponent to the rail.

Jose Carlos "Yoshi" Abreu opened to 8,000 from under then gun, but David Spir in the small blind three-bet to 22,000. Yoshi made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of JJ9 and Spir checked. Yoshi bet 16,000 and Spir called.

Spir led out for 25,000 on the 8 turn, but Yoshi raised to 55,000. It only took a few seconds for Spir to fold.

Ruggeri Makes Everybody Fold

After the cutoff opened to 10,000, Luca Riozzi in the small blind three-bet to 22,000. Umberto Ruggeri looked at his opponents' stacks and decided to go all-in with the biggest stack of the table.

The cutoff folded, but Riozzi went deep into the tank. He eventually folded KQ, while Ruggeri revealed the Q.

Iaculli Runs Into Aces

Gianfranco Iaculli in the hijack found himself at risk for approximately 200,000 against Marcello Rocca in middle position.

Iaculli ran into aces and couldn't do much on JK855, so he was eliminated. A few hands later, Sarah Jarry was eliminated from the same table.

The 262 remaining players are back in their seats and have received information about the prize pool for the 2024 WSOP-C Sanremo Main Event.

The 1,050 entrants generated a total prize pool of €888,300, which will be divided into 159 payouts, with the top 159 players in the money, each securing a minimum cash prize of €2,010.

However, only one player will be crowned the winner tomorrow, taking home the first-place prize of €133,090, along with a watch in Texapoker’s colors.

262 Survivors on Day 2 of the 2024 WSOP-C Sanremo

The race for the money can now start in the 2024 World Series of Poker Circuit Sanremo €1,000 Main Event. After four starting flights here at Casinò Sanremo, only 262 survivors remain from a record-breaking field of 1,050 entrants.

Yesterday, on Day 1c, Jean-Marc Chiba finished as the overall chip leader with 775,000 chips, followed by Serge Monier (759,000) and Moundir Zoughari (713,000). Day 1a chip leader Mateusz Sikora holds a slightly smaller stack (498,000), along with Day 1b chipleader Angelo Marrone (493,000). Day 1d’s chip leader, Antonio Scalzi, bagged 578,000.
