Wong was in the lead, but surely didn't like the look of the A♦10♦4♣ flop as Kashani added a ton of outs with a flush draw. The hand was all over by the time the 8♦ hit the turn, as Kashani improved to an unbeatable flush. A meaningless J♠ landed on the river, and Wong headed to the payout desk.

Yannik Seabrook raised to 130,000 from under the gun and Thomas Swain shoved from the next seat for 445,000. Philip Joyce cold-called in the small blind, and Seabrook shoved for almost 1,200,000. Joyce had around 600,000 behind, but elected to fold.

Swain was way behind, but all of a sudden saw light at the end of the tunnel as the 7♠9♦8♥ flop gave him an open-ended straight draw. A 10♣ on the turn completed his straight, which didn't impress Seabrook. There were still chances to chop the pot, but the 2♣ river was a brick, and Swain survived.

Kashani Shows Lhuillier the Bad News

On a board of A♣6♣J♠6♦, there were already around 600,000 chips in the pot when Arian Kashani checked the action over to Jean-Emmanuel Lhuillier, who fired 375,000. Kashani then put in a raise to 775,000. which Lhuillier eventually called.

A K♠ dropped on the river and Kashani made a bet of 700,000, which sent Lhuillier into the tank. Minutes passed and with no decision from Lhuillier, and eventually the clock was called. Lhuillier made a hero call with one second left of a countdown yesterday, and with just few seconds remaining on this clock today, he called.

Kashani then showed trips with 8♥6♥, and Lhuillier mucked his hand.

"I literally folded jack-nine," said Thomas Swain.
