More Quads as Barouk Doubles Through Loudagh
Nivel 14
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
In a single-raised pot between Yasser Loudagh from early position and Philippe Barouk on the button, 47,000 was in the middle.
On the K♥J♥8♥ flop, Loudagh checked to Barouk who bet, the big blind folded, and Loudagh check-jammed for 186,000 effective as the covering stack, and Barouk called.
Philippe Barouk: J♠J♦
Yasser Loudagh: K♦Q♦
Loudagh was in rough shape with top pair against the set of Barouk. The 6♦ left Loudagh drawing dead and the J♣ added insult to injury as Barouk improved to quads to secure the full double in a massive pot.
