Hammann Rivers a Straight
Nivel 44
: Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Aliosha Staes limped in from the small blind and [Removed:663] checked his option in the big blind.
Staes took the lead for 700,000 on the 4♦8♠3♥ flop. Hammann called.
The 7♦ turn checked through to the 5♣ on the river. Staes bet out 2,000,000 and Hammann went deep into the tank. Hammann thought for some time before finally making the call.
Staes tabled Q♠Q♦, but was beaten by Hammann's A♠2♣, having made the dummy end of the straight on the river.
