Waters Takes a Chip Lead Pot
Nivel 17
: 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jennifer Steele limped in from the small blind. Charlie Waters, in the big blind, raised to 17,000 and Steele called.
The 9♠K♦6♠ flop saw Steele check-call a bet of 15,000 from Waters.
The 10♦ turn saw Steele play out of flow, moving all in for Waters' effective stack of 190,000. Waters snap-called.
Charlie Waters: Q♣J♣
Jennifer Steele: 10♣6♣
Steele's two pair was behind the turned straight of Waters. The Q♦ river changed nothing and Waters found a monumental double up.
