Roberts Eliminated by McCann
Mary-Rose McCann opened to 2,000 from the hijack and got a call from Ilie Cristina in the cutoff, Yoko Okazaki in the small blind and Lisa Roberts in the big blind.
The Q♠A♦5♣ flop was checked around to McCann, who bet 2,500 and got a single call from Roberts.
The K♥ turn was checked by both. Roberts bet 5,000 on the 6♥ river, which sent McCann into the tank.
After around two minutes, McCann made the call. Roberts showed A♣4♣ but McCann took the pot with A♥8♣.
In the next hand, McCann raised from under the gun to 2,000 and Roberts moved all in.
Lisa Roberts: A♦6♣
Mary-Rose McCann: A♣7♣
Roberts was looking for help to stay alive but the J♠5♥3♠5♦4♦ runout didn't save her, and she was eliminated from the tournament, helping McCann to build her stack.
