Sipila Applies the Pressure

Mike Gorodinsky raised to 15,000 in the cutoff and Samuli Sipila defended in the big blind.

The flop of Q49 checked through to the J turn. Sipila led out with a bet of 39,000 and Gorodinsky used a time bank card before making the call.

On the 2 river, Sipila fired again, this time for 92,000. Gorodinsky used two more time banks before tossing his cards into the muck.

Zack Puts Duek in Tough Spot

Action picked up on the river with a sizable pot brewing in a hand between Daniel Zack and Michael Duek.

With over 125,000 in the middle and the board reading 5KA6A, Zack checked and Duek bet 45,000.

Zack then came over the top and reraised all in for 230,000 total, putting himself at risk.

Duek went into the tank, using multiple time bank cards before eventually tossing his cards into the muck.

Foxen Knocks Out Kassam

Alex Foxen raised to 21,000 from under the gun, which Rehman Kassam called in middle position, leaving 1,000 chips behind. It then folded to John Kabbaj who also made the call on the button.

The flop came 4102 and Foxen moved all in for his stack of 54,000. Kassam put in his last 1,000, and Kabbaj got out of the way, leaving the players heads up, with Kassam at risk.

Foxen was in front with his queens, and once the board ran 54 Foxen made a full house. fours full of fives, giving him the pot and eliminating Kassam.

Action picked up on the flop of 77A in a hand between Raphael Schreiner in the cutoff, Jason Mercier in the small blind, and Jim Collopy in the big blind.

Mercier and Collopy checked and Schreiner bet 9,000. Mercier then raised to 26,000 and Collopy came over the top and reraised all in. Schreiner got out of the way and Mercier called, putting himself at risk.

Set No Good for Dvoress

Andjelko Andrejevic limped from under the gun, with Carl Doyon and Rui Neves following with a call. Daniel Dvoress took some time before calling on the button and Roman Hrabec did the same in the small blind.

Mike Watson checked his big blind option to the 364 flop, where Hrabec led out for 30,000. Action folded around to Dvoress, who used a time bank card before announcing all in. Hrabec called and the cards were turned up.
