Stoyan Madanzhiev opened the hijack to 130,000 before Anh Do three-bet to 330,000 from the cutoff. With the action back on Madanzhiev, he opted to jam for 1,825,000, and Do snapped it off.

Madanzhiev woke up with jacks but ran into the aces of Do. However, the J♣10♠7♣ flop gave Madanzhiev top set and he held through the 6♥K♦ runout to score a massive double.
Colby Covington opened to 120,000 from under the gun and Igor Pihela called next to act.
On the K♥4♣2♣ flop, Covington continued for 100,000 and Pihela called.
The turn was the 3♠. Covington cut out a bet of 400,000 before Pihela snap-jammed for 850,000 and Covington called.

Covington was in great shape with the overpair and the 7♠ river secured the elimination as the UFC star padded his stack.
Marcos Exterkotter got his last 1,400,000 in the middle from the hijack as Arthur Conan quickly called in the small blind to put him at risk.

Both players had the same hand and were poised for a chop as the 4♣5♦6♣ flop gave Conan a flush draw. The J♠ fell on the turn, but the river was the 9♣ and Conan spiked his flush to send Exterkotter to the rail.

Nazar Buhaiov moved all in for 400,000 in the cutoff and Stoyan Madanzhiev called on the button.

Madanzhiev had picked up queens to leave Buhaiov looking for an ace to survive, but no help arrived on the J♦5♠10♠9♠2♦ board and the Day 1 chip leader was sent to the rail.
Wookuk Lee from middle position and Anh Do from the button had built a pot of just over 1,300,000 going to the river.
With the board reading A♥J♣7♥8♣3♠, Lee checked to Do who used a time bank before sliding a bet of 1,150,000 forward. Lee immediately threw all of his time banks into the middle and sat back in his chair. Eventually, after using two extensions, he opted to let it go, conceding a sizeable pot to Do without showdown.
A massive pile of chips was already in the middle as Michael Soyza and Abdelhakim Zoufri went to the river on a board of 5♣J♦8♦5♠8♣.
Soyza then bet 600,000 from the big blind and Zoufri moved all in under the gun. Soyza had around 1,200,000 remaining and tanked for a minute before calling.
Zoufri turned over A♠8♠ for a full house and Soyza tossed 5♦4♥ into the muck as Zoufri raked in the enormous pot to send Soyza to the rail.
Phil Hellmuth raised to 100,000 in the cutoff and Jordan Glazer called in the big blind.
The flop came 7♣3♦7♦ and Hellmuth continued for 80,000. Glazer then raised to 225,000.
Hellmuth leaned over the table and eyed down Glazer's remaining stack before moving all in. Glazer, with around 500,000 remaining, snap-folded.
"Just give you the chips," Glazer said as Hellmuth climbed past 2,500,000. Colby Covington is sitting right beside Hellmuth at this table.
