Blaz Zerjav opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 240,000. He was called by Fahredin Mustafov in the hijack, and the big blind Rokas Asipauskas.

After the flop came 6♥6♠7♦ Asipauskas decided to lead out for a bet of 200,000. Zerjav folded, and Mustafov made the call.

The turn brought the 5♠ and Asipauskas continued to bet, this time for 450,000. Mustafov gave it a quick thought before mucking his hand to give the pot to Asipauskas.

Zerjav & Yu Build a Big One

Blaz Zerjav raised to 240,000 from the cutoff and Lei Yu defended the big blind to see a flop of A♣2♦K♣.

Yu checked, Zerjav bet 150,000, and Yu check-raised to 410,000. Zerjav called and the 2♠ appeared on the turn.

Yu returned to checking but called when Zerjav bet 350,000, which brought about the 2♣ on the river.

Both players quickly checked and Yu showed the J♣5♣ for a flush, but it was no good as Zerjav had a full house with his K♥8♠.

After the K♣6♥8♠ flop, Zerjav check-called a bet of 160,000 from Mustafov.

The turn brought the 3♣ and after Zerjav checked, Mustafov sized up to 575,000. Zerjav thought over his decision momentarily, before mucking his cards to give the pot to Mustafov.

Blaz Zerjav raised to 240,000 from the button and Fahredin Mustafov three-bet to 620,000 from the small blind. Zerjav called and then called a bet of 280,000 on the 10♦6♣Q♥ flop.

When the 8♠ appeared on the turn, Mustafov checked and Zerjav bet 350,000. Mustafov then sprung to life with an all-in check-raise for approximately 1.65 million and Zerjav snap-called.

Zerjav had flopped another set but Mustafov was drawing live as he had opted to get aggressive with his turned double gutshot straight draw.

Mustafov was looking for either a jack or seven, but he was left wanting as the A♠ completed the board on the river.

Vlad Darie raised to 300,000 from the hijack, and when it folded to the small blind Bruno Volkmann, he three-bet all in for his stack of 380,000. Once the big blind folded, Darie quickly called to put Volkmann at risk.

Volkmann had Darie dominated, but when the board ran out 5♦10♦8♦4♣3♠ Darie flopped a five to take the pot, and knock out Volkmann in fifth place.

Blaz Zerjav opened with a raise only to have Vlad Darie, the last remaining bracelet winner, three-bet big from the small blind for roughly half his stack. Rokas Asipauskas then four-bet jammed all in from the big, Zerjav folded, and Darie, who had a big portion of his chips already committed, called off for 2.61 million.

Darie was dominated and things got worse when the 9♣9♥A♦ flop paired the ace of Asipauskas. Darie needed to catch runner-runner, but the 3♥ turn took away and chance of that happening.

The meaningless 4♦ was run out on the river and Darie exited in fourth place, thus ensuring yet another first-time bracelet winner down here at the WSOP Paradise.
