"Your job is to just put the eight. However you want to do it," Negreanu told the dealer as he whipped out his camera to await the board. The A♠J♥3♠ flop gave both players top pair, but Elias remained ahead with his ace-kicker. The 5♣ fell on the turn to leave Negreanu one card away from elimination.
"GG," a tablemate told Negreau.
"GG? You're not feeling an eight?" Negreanu replied. The river was the 7♠ and Negreanu was sent to the rail.
"GG all. That was boring. I don't like playing ten big blinds deep," Negreanu added on his way to the exit.
