Quach's Slowplay Puts a Dent in Martin's Stack

Nivel 15 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Daniel Quach called from the small blind and Stefan Martin checked his option from the big. The flop came {Q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and Quach checked. Martin fired 8,000 and Quach smooth-called.

Quach again checked when the {8-Hearts} fell on the turn and this time Martin bet just over 20,000. Quach called a second time.

The river came the {J-Diamonds} and Quach checked one more time, prompting a 37,000 bet from Martin. Quach called and Martin looked ready to muck before seeing Quach's cards, which were {A-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a flopped two pair. Martin mucked his hand and Quach's stack grew to just over 300,000.

Dhooghe: {K-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Samblero: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

Dhooghe took the lead when they flop came {10-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and held it all the way through the {7-Hearts} of the turn and the {3-Hearts} on the river. Dhooghe's is at roughly 135,000.

Barela Takes a Hit

Nivel 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Michael Barela raised to 16,000 from the cutoff and Daniel Quach called from the button. The small and big blind folded and the two players took a flop, which came {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. Barela pushed all in and Quach quickly called for his remaining 114,000.

Barela: {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Quach: {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}

Quach's flopped straight held up as the meaningless {4-Hearts} and {4-Spades} hit the turn and river. Barela is currently sitting just above 200,000.

Barela: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Barela's pocket pair held up to score the knockout.

Nicholson Eliminated, Two Tables Remain

Nivel 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Just as the dealers were told to stop dealing so we could redraw for the final two tables, a hand was brewing over on the featured table between Anthony Nicholson and Claudio Falcaro.

With the board already reading {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Falcaro bet out 13,000 and Nicholson called. The river brought the {10-Diamonds} and Falcaro bet out again, this time for 20,000. Nicholson then pushed all in for 66,000 and Falcaro pondered for a minute before making the call. Falcaro flipped over his {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for a flopped set of fours and Nicholson mucked his cards. Nicholson finished in 18th place.

After a redraw of seats, we have 17 players still vying for the bracelet and they will be going on a 1 hour dinner break at the end of the current level.
