Huck Seed's Plight

Nivel 12 : 1,300/2,500, 0 ante

We just watched a short-stacked Huck Seed split a pot with Tom Dwan on a {9-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} board. Seed was all in by the time the turn card rolled around, and his {A-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} ended up being good enough to take the high half. Dwan's {4-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} took the low.

On the next hand, Seed raised under the gun, and Chris George flatted to see a heads-up flop. It came {3-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {5-Diamonds}, and Seed bet. George called there, and he called another bet after the {5-Spades} turn. The river came the {2-Hearts}, and Seed didn't like it at all. He checked, and George put out the pink chip for the bet. Seed grimaced, shook his head, and folded with 2,200 chips left.

On the next hand, those 2,200 chips were committed to the big blind, and Seed was facing five-way action. The board ran out {5-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}, and Tom Dwan tabled {A-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} to take the low half. Seed's {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} had backed into a flush, and that's going to keep him around for now. He's back up to 5,500, and there's still a lot of work to be done.
