Michael Finstein Eliminated In 15th Place ($25,769), Mazin Khoury On Fire

Michael Finstein
Michael Finstein

Christian Stricker Kohl raised it to 31,000 from the cutoff and Mazin Khoury re-raised all in for 325,000 from middle position. Kohl made the call and had Khoury seemingly dominated with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} to Khoury's {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The flop was kind to Khoury though as it came down {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} to give Khoury a set of sixes. The turn and river were {k-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Khoury doubled up to around 670,000.

One hand later, Michael Finstein moved all in for 262,000 on the button and Khoury made the call with {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Finstein showed {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The flop again was kind to Khoury as it came {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs} to give him a pair of aces. The turn and river {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} were no help to Finstein and he is out in 15th place. Khoury however moved up to 1,000,000 in chips.

Chips, Chips and Chips

Rupert Elder Eliminated In 18th Place ($25,769), Tyler Cornell Eliminated In 17th Place ($25,769)

The first hand after the re-draw, Rupert Elder pushed all in for his last 50,000 and got a call from Jesse Cohen

Elder had {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Cohen had {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Elder left in 18th place.

One hand later on another table, Tyler Cornell raised it up to 26,000 preflop and our chip leader Anthony Ruberto re-raised it up to 77,000 from the big blind. Cornell re-raised to 160,000 and Ruberto moved all in, Cornell called.

It was a bit of a cooler for Cornell as his {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} were dominated by the {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} of Ruberto. The board ran out {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Ruberto is now up to around 2,100,000 and has a dominating chip lead.

Gilmore Out

Nivel 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Peter Gilmore pushed his last 150,000 in preflop and Will "The Thrill" Failla made the call.

Failla had {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Gilmore was ahead with {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Failla said, "Ace of diamonds dealer." The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Failla again said, "No, dealer, I said ace of diamonds come on."

The turn was the {j-Hearts} and Failla said, "Ok, that'll do." The river was the {k-Clubs} and Gilmore hits the rail. Failla has just around 500,000 after the hand

O'Brien Doubles Big Through Moorman

Nivel 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Dan O'Brien
Dan O'Brien

Dan O'Brien raised it up to 20,000 from the cutoff and Chris Moorman in the small blind re-raised to 56,000. O'Brien put in a fourth bet to make it 111,000 total. Moorman asked him how much he started the hand with and then eventually moved all in. O'Brien inst-called his 519,000 and flipped over {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} and Moorman needed some help with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and O'Brien is building castles with his 1,100,000 chips. Moorman falls to 650,000 after the hand but still has plenty of chips to splash around.
