YellowSub Triples in Three Way Pot

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Davidi Katai, Jeff Williams and a player under the gun all jammed a mountain of chips into the middle preflop. The UTG was the shortest stack and moved all in, Williams with a slightly larger stack also shoved and Katai had them both covered and called.

Showdown:
UTG: {J-} {J-}
Williams: {K-Spades} {K-Clubs}
Katai: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}

Board: {4-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {2-Hearts}

The UTG player busted and Williams tripled up to 39,000 and Katai's stack took a bit of a hit.

Lawson Builds His Stack

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

We caught Ted Lawson in a hand with one other player on the flop of {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Lawson led out with a 3,000 bet and his opponent raised to 8,400. The clock was called on Lawson and he reraised to 13,800. His opponent called.

The {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn and both players checked. The river brought the {q-Diamonds} and both players checked again.

Lawson flipped up {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and his opponent turned over {a-}{k-}.

Lawson now sits with 60,000 in chips.

The Magician Disappears From the Tournament

Antonio Esfandiari
Antonio Esfandiari

Preflop, the player on the button raised to 3,200 and Antonio Esfandiari (who had just limped) re-raised to 8,500. The button called and they saw the {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop.

Esfandiari bet big with 13,500 but after a bit of counting, the player on the button put 40,000 in the pot which was enough to put Esfandiari all in. He quickly called and flipped over {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} to be ahead of the button player's {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}, but there were still two cards to come.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds} to give the button player two pair and the {5-Diamonds} on the river was no help sending Esfandiari home.

Medic Takes Down a Pot

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Ted Lawson started the action by raising to 1,200 preflop on the button. The player in the small blind called and Nenad Medic reraised to 4,600 from the big blind. Lawson folded and the player in the small blind reraised all in for another 11,800 chips. Medic made the call.

Medic: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Opponent: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

Medic now sits with 25,000 in chips.
