One Deeb Down, One to Go

Nivel 17
Freddy Deeb - out
Freddy Deeb - out

Freddy Deeb opened to 6,000 from late position, and Scott Bohlman reraised to 19,000 from the big blind. Deeb called, and the flop came {4-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {A-Hearts}. Bohlman led out with a pot-sized bet of 39,000, and that sent Deeb deep into the tank. He started talking to himself. "Well, I went with this hand and I flopped it..." he began, trailing off. He counted down his stack, and he only had 38,200 left. After another moment, he said, "Well, I hope you don't have a set," and he announced the call.

"Aces," Bohlman said, rolling over {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for top set. It was just as Deeb feared, and he tabled {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Spades} for the underset.

"I'll give you a ride home," Lyle Berman said, now standing adjacent to Deeb sweating this final hand.

"Not if I catch a four," Deeb answered with a grin. The turn and river were the {9-Diamonds} and {9-Clubs}, though, and there's no quads and no more chips for Deeb.

Looks like he'll be catching a ride home with Berman tonight.
