G0lfa Doubles Lisandro

Ryan "G0lfa" D'Angelo just doubled up 2009 WSOP Player of the year Jeff Lisandro.

Lisandro got his last 14,000 all in on the flop of {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} with {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} against D'Angelo's {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The turn and river came {7-Spades}{2-Clubs} to give Lisandro the double up and cut D'Angelo's chip stack in half. Lisandro has a little over 33,000 and D'Angelo a little under 15,000 after the hand

Obrestad Hits River Of Dreams

On a board of {k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}, Annette Obrestad put 4,600 chips into a pot with about 10,000 already in there. Her river bet was called down by Shaun Deeb and Obrestad showed {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a rivered nut straight much to the chagrin of Deeb.

After she showed he said, "Wow... I had A LOT of good cards in that hand" and angrily flung his hand into the muck. Obrestad now has about 20,000.

Mizrachi Getting Grinded Down

Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

We didn't catch all the action, but arrived to see a board reading {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and the following cards laid on the table.

Michael Mizrachi: {10-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Opponent: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{A-Clubs}

We do know that the money went in on the turn, and that Mizrachi ended up doubling his opponent. Mizrachi has gone from nearly 100,000 down to 21,000 in the last hour.

"Hey, Some of My Chips are Mizz-ing!"

We picked up the action on a flop that read {7-Spades}{A-Hearts}{4-Spades} over on table 33, where an opponent in early position checked to Sorel Mizzi, who opened for 1,600 from the button. The opponent check-raised, making it 6,800 to go and Mizzi called before the opponent jammed the rest of his stack into the middle on the turn of the {7-Hearts}. Mizzi snap-called.

Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Mizzi: {K-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Unfortunately for Mizzi, the opponent's hand held up when the {6-Diamonds} bricked out on the river. Still, it's not that much of a concern, because he's still on more than 46,000.

Seth Bluffs His Way To The Chip Lead

We came to the table as the river was being dealt between Andy Seth and his opponent. The board read {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, and Seth had put out a bet of 20,000 that essentially put his opponent all in. He thought for about a minute before folding, and Seth showed {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{x-Spades}{x-Spades} for a world of missed draws. Seth dragged the pot, and bumped his stack up to 120,000.

Chip Lead To Busto

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu got it all in for his last 17,000 or so (he put 10,000 in preflop as well) on a flop of {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} with {k-}{k-}{j-}{5-} against the {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} of Benjamin Spindler. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and that's all she wrote for Negreanu.

A Few Eliminations and More Dwan

The stacked field continues to thin, but one man who continues to chip up is none other than Tom "durrrr" Dwan. He is now up to just over 100,000.
