Perelman Gets Some Action

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player in early position opened to 450, and Rob Perelman three-bet to 1,225. A player with position on both cold-called, and the initial raiser came along for a three-handed flop.

It came {Q-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {A-Hearts}, and the initial raiser checked. Perelman continued out with 1,225, and the player with position folded. The checker called, though, and the {7-Clubs} landed on fourth street. After a long pause, he checked again, and Perelman shoved for the ~5,400 effective chips his opponent had. Snap-call!

Perelman: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades}
Opponent: {7-Hearts} {7-Spades}

Oof! That was a fantastic turn card for Perelman, and the river {2-Hearts} gave him the knockout. He's up over 30,000 now.

Sabat Shaves Phan

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Four levels into the day, we're still finding players for the first time today. We just stumbled on Eddy Sabat as he was opening a pot to 300. John "The Razor" Phan defended his big blind, and both players checked through the {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {7-Hearts} flop. The turn came the {4-Spades}, and Sabat made a delayed continuation bet of 500. Phan called, and the {K-Spades} filled out the board. When Phan checked a third time, Sabat took his cue to make one last bet of 1,150. Phan tanked for a good while before calling.

Sabat flipped over {A-Spades} {A-Hearts}, and they were best. Dragging the pot, we see Sabat has chipped his way up to about 12,700.

Brad Garrett - he went that way
Brad Garrett - he went that way

You probably noticed in the last chip update, but this field has gotten a whole lot less funny. Brad Garrett came. He saw. He was conquered.

Cada Can Catch

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

The player under the gun raised to 425 to open the pot, and Joe Cada made the call to go heads-up to the flop.

It came {10-Spades} {8-Spades} {5-Diamonds}, and the raiser continued out with 1,025 chips. Cada raised it up to 2,500, the bettor shoved, and Cada made the call for the rest of his own chips. He was still on the draw, turning up {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}. His opponent's {K-Clubs} {K-Spades} was in front for the time being, but that didn't last long.

The {A-Clubs} dropped right on fourth street, and a blank on the river secured Cada's double to about 15,000.
