Bansi Bests Two Others

Nivel 7

PLO

Praz Bansi was short stacked and got all his chips in preflop against two other players who checked it down. After the board read {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} the hands were revealed.

Bansi: {A-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Opponent 1: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Opponent 2: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{x-}{x-}

Bansi's fives full of kings was enough to win the pot and he tripled up to 5,600.

Boeree Goes Busto

Nivel 7

PLH

Liv Boeree was in the small blind facing a raise to 1,250. She made it 4,250 with just 1,200 or so behind. The big blind folded and the original raiser just flatted.

The flop was {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Boeree stuck in the rest of her chips. Her opponent called and the hands were turned face up.

Boeree: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The turn {10-Clubs} and river {7-Diamonds} bricked out for Boeree and she headed for the rail.

Mattila Gets the Best of Obrestad

Nivel 6

PLH

Action folded around to Annette Obrestad in the small blind and she completed. Ville Mattila was in the big blind and raised to 1,200. Obrestad called.

The flop came down {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, Obrestad checked and Mattila bet the pot worth 2,400. Obrestad immediately put in her stack which was a valid raise for less than the pot. She just barely had Mattila covered and he was forced to call as he was pot committed to his hand.

Obrestad: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Mattila: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}

Mattila had an inside straight-draw that was no good because a Four would give Obrestad a better straight. However, his Ace-high was good enough to be in the lead as he had to avoid a Nine, Eight, Seven or Four as well as running hearts to double up. The turn bricked off with the {q-Diamonds} as did the river with the {10-Clubs} and he now has 14,000. Obrestad is crippled with under 500.
