Chainsaw Chopped

Ladies and Gentlemen, Allen Kessler has left the buidling.

Kessler raised it up from the button, and the big blind re-raised which was enough for Kessler to put his last 575 in the pot and be all in.

Kessler: {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Buttons: {6-Spades}{2-Spades}

The board ran out, {6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Kessler hit the rail.

We are starting to see more and more four and five handed tables, and before we know it, we'll have our first table winner of the day

"I am a nit"

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Shannon Shorr was in the big blind and faced a bet preflop, he called and got to see a flop. {K-Spades}{A-Clubs}{4-Spades} all graced the felt. After seeing the flop Shorr checked and his opponent plopped a bet out, Shorr called. The {Q-Clubs} on the turn brought checks from both players.

The river {5-Spades} allowed Shorr to bet for the first time in the hand, and after some contemplation Shorr's opponent called and showed {A-}{8-}. All we saw Shorr show was a {J-}, which was not enough to win the hand and the chips were sent to his opponent.

One of the player's at Shorr's table question why it took so long for Shorr's opponent to call with a pair of aces, he responded "I am a nit".

Ugly River Busts Tryba

With one player already all in and the board reading {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}, Chris Tryba got the remainder of his chips in against the third player in the hand.

All-In Player: {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Tryba: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Tryba's tens were best until the river brought the {7-Clubs} giving both the other players a nine-high straight. The player who was all in for less and the third player divvied up Tryba's chips as he headed to the rail.

Mercier Chipping Up

Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

The under-the-gun player raised and was called by Jason Mercier from the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Mercier checked, his opponent bet, and Mercier raised. The UTG player called and the turn brought the {6-Diamonds}. Mercier bet and the other player called. The river was the {10-Hearts} and Mercier bet once more and received a call.

Mercier showed the {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a flush which was good enough to win the pot as the other player mucked his hand.

Brandon Cantu Busted

We found Brandon Cantu all in on a {10-}{j-}{q-}{4-} board. Cantu held {A-}{A-} for a pair of aces, unfortionately for him his opponent had {8-}{9-} for a straight. Cantu would need a king on the river to stay alive. He was unable to connect as the (6x} fell out of the deck for the river and Cantu was eliminated.
