Spets Sees Through Your Lies

On a flop of {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, Marco Liesy bet 28,000 and was called by Age Spets. When the {K-Clubs} came on the turn, Liesy moved all in and Spets let out a huge sigh. Eventually, Spets made the call, tabling {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}, for top pair and a flush draw.

Liesy turned up {J-Clubs}{4-Spades} for complete air. The {9-Spades} rivered, completing Spets' flush and awarding him a nice double up.

Watt a Life, Hopes Dashed

Simon Watt continues to add oodles to his stack, Dash Dudley his latest victim as Watt won yet another flip to eliminate another player.

Watt: {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Dudley: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The board - {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} meaning Dash was no longer in the running.

We've Got Some Scott, Scott Action Here

On the turn of a {x-}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{Q-Spades} board, Scott Baumstein fired out 24,000 with Scott Sitron check-calling there as well as a further 78,000 on the {8-Hearts} river.

Sitron again called but couldn't beat Baumstein's nutty-looking {J-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a straight.

Grippo Crippled Then Busted

We caught up to the table to see a three way all in on table #369. Nicholas Grippo called and had covered the all in's of both Vahag Gevondyan and Raminder Singh covered.

Grippo: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Gevondyan: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Singh: {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The board fell {9-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{2-Spades}. Gevondyan was able to essentially triple up, knocking out one player and crippling Grippo in the process. Grippo was forced all in the next hand and sent to the rail by Andreas Adolfsson.

Poched Chips

Andrew Youngblood won a huge flip (we're guessing it was all in preflop) with {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} against Jonathon Poche's {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} when the board came {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{A-Spades} the rivered ace completely changing everything as Youngblood moved up among the chip leaders.
