Hall Doubles Through Heger

Action folded around to Adam Heger in the small blind who raised to 40,000. Zachary Hall responded by moving all in from the big blind and Heger snap called with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Unfortunately for Heger, Hall had him crushed with {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Hall's tens held, crippling Heger in the process.

Darya Hulyk Eliminated in 14th Place ($30,431)

Darya Hulyk - 14th Place
Darya Hulyk - 14th Place

Darya Hulyk entered the pot from the hi-jack with a raise to 45,000 only to have Jacob Naquin three-bet the cutoff to 107,000. Once the action returned to Hulyk, she slid out her second consecutive four-bet by making it 245,000 total.

Sounds familiar to the last hand doesn't it?

Although he flat-called on the previous occasion, Naquin chose to five-bet shove all in for virtually 3 million as Hulyk made the call.

Hulyk: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Naquin: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

With Hulyk in the lead, the {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{K-Spades} flop saw Naquin take the lead and be a near-lock on the pot that could send him to a spot where he would hold over a third of chips in play.

For Hulyk, the chance to create history would become slimmer when the {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

History you say?

Hulyk is dating Oleksii Kovalchuk who managed to snag a bracelet earlier in the series in Event #26: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em / Six Handed, and earlier in the day it seemed as though Hulyk could - along with Kovalchuk - become the first couple to win bracelets in the same year.

Unfortunately for Hulyk and Kovalchuk, the river landed the {6-Diamonds} to end her run in 14th place for a $30,431 payday as Naquin soars to 4,480,000 in chips.

Naquin Approaches 3 Million

Darya Hulyk opened the cutoff to 40,000 only to have Jacob Naquin three-bet the button to 91,000. Hulyk responded by pushing out a four-bet of 150,000 which Naquin called as the flop landed {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Hulyk continued for 225,000 and once Naquin called, both players checked the {5-Spades} on the turn before the {3-Spades} completed the board on the river. Hulyk checked, and when Naquin bet out 210,000, she would opt to muck her hand while slipping to

Nicolas Chouity opened the action by raising to 45,000. Rafal Michalowski decided to three-bet to 120,000. Right next to him, Jacob Naquin tanked for a bit before pushing out a four-bet to 250,000. Chouity folded and Micahlowski five-bet all in and Naquin made the call.

Naquin: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Michalowski: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

The flop brought nothing for Michalowski, coming {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Michalowski picked up a club draw on the turn whent he {Q-Clubs} came, but bricked out with the {8-Spades} on the river. He was sent home in 15th place to collect $30,431 in tournament winnings.
