Christopher George completed and Madison Bergeron called. Mark Tenner came in with a raise which both other players called. Tenner led out on fourth and again both players called. On fifth, Tenner bet yet again and George stuck around while Bergeron got out of the way. Tenner bet once more on sixth and George said “That nine saved you” before finally laying his hand down.

We caught up with the action on fifth where Matt Grapenthien bet and David Singer called. The action was the same on the remaining two streets with the final call putting Singer all in. Grapenthien turned over for a seventy-six which Singer couldn’t beat since he mucked and was eliminated.

Coming into Day 2 of Event #44, Tim Fiorvanti had just over 13,000 chips, and for three and a half levels of play it was a roller coaster. Our fellow media member saw his stack fluctuate up and down nearly every rotation, and unfortunately his attempt at WSOP gold fell short.

The hand was completed, and Fiorvanti called a bet from Hairabedian on fourth street. On fifth, Fiorvanti checked, tank-called a bet, and then led out on sixth, getting the rest of his chips in the middle. Hairabedian called.

If Hairabedian bricked on seventh, there was a chance Fiorvanti could catch up. Hairabedian grabbed his last card, pulled it off the table to sweat it with his other two down-cards.
"Just give me a sweat," Fiorvanti told him.
There was no sweat, Hairabedian tabled a for an unbeatable hand. Fiorvanti turned over a just to see, then collected his things before exiting the Blue Section of the Amazon Room.

On sixth, Viox check-called a bet from Karr who paired, and Viox checked dark on seventh. Karr bet, and Viox instantly called.
Karr opened up for nine-eight-seven, but Viox tabled for a nine-eight-five - the best hand.
The 2011 WSOP bracelet winner added to his stack, and now has just under 60,000 chips.
