On the second draw, Gavin Smith and his opponent both drew one card. Smith fired out a bet and his opponent called. On the third draw Smith stood pat while his opponent drew one. His opponent checked and Smith bet once more, receiving a call. Smith flipped over {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and was able to scoop the pot.

Eighty-Seven For Matusow

We caught up with the action to see Mike Matusow draw one card while his opponent stood pat. Matusow bet out after the last draw and his opponent called.

"Eight," exclaimed Matusow, flipping over {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}. His eighty-seven was enough to scoop the pot.

Bellande Doubles

We missed the action but caught the showdown. Bellande was all in for his tournament life up against his opponent's {8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Bellande was able to pull a {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and double through to around 5,000.

Negreanu Folds the End

Action folded to Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu in the small blind and he raised. The big blind made it three bets and Negreanu called before drawing one. His opponent drew two. Negreanu then bet and his opponent raised. Negreanu called.

On the second draw, both players drew one. Negreanu then check-called his opponent's bet before drawing one on the last draw. His opponent stood pat.

Negreanu checked and his opponent bet. Negreanu tossed his hand into the muck, unable to call, and lost the lost.

Cassidy Runs Into Ninety-Eight

The player from the cutoff put in a raise and Joe Cassidy made the call from the big blind. Cassidy opted to take three while the cutoff drew two. Cassidy check-called a bet and we were on to the second draw.

The cutoff stood pat while Cassidy once again took three. Cassidy called a dark bet from the cutoff and drew one on the last draw. The action checked around and Cassidy mucked his hand at the sight of his opponent's {9-}{8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}

Williamson Grabs an Eighty-Six

Robert Williamson III raised from under the gun and was called by the button and Rob Hollink from the big blind. Williamson took one card while Hollink and the button player took two. Hollink checked to Williamson who bet out and was called by both players.

On the second draw Williamson stood pat while the button and Hollink drew two cards. Williamson threw out a dark bet and the button called while Hollink mucked his hand. Williamson continued to stand pat on the third draw while the big blind player took one. It went check-check and Williamson flipped up {8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} for the winning hand.

Eight Low For Ho

A player raised from under the gun and action folded around to Maria Ho in the big blind who made the call. Both players drew two cards. Ho checked and her opponent bet out. Ho called and the two saw the second draw.

Ho drew two once again while her opponent drew one. Ho chose to lead out this time around and her opponent formed a puzzled look on his face. He made the call however, drawing one on the next round while Ho stood pat.

Ho bet out once more and her opponent made the call. Ho tabled {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and was able to scoop the pot.
