Buchman Spiraling Down

Nivel 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Buchman: (x)(x) / {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} (x)
Isaia: (x)(x) / {4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{a-Spades}{5-Spades} / (x)

Alessio Isaia has just taken back to back hands off of Eric Buchman to take a huge chip lead with three to go. In the first hand shown above, Buchman brought in, then raised when Isaia completed. Isaia called, then check call on fourth street. Isaia bet out on fifth street, and was raised by Buchman. Isaia called, then check called the rest of the way. At showdown, Buchman just shook his head, and said "ace king high." Isaia showed {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for kings up and took the pot.

Isaia: (x) (x) / {j-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} / (x)
Buchman: (x)(x) / {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} / (x)

In the second big hand between these two in a five minute span, Isaia completed after Katchalov brought in. Buchman raised, and Isaia called. We missed the action on fourth street, but we saw Buchman check call on fifth and sixth streets. On seventh, Buchman decided to get aggressive and bet out, but Isaia came right along with him, and just like before, Buchman simply muttered "ace king high". Isaia {j-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a pair of jacks, and Isaia took another monster pot. After these two hands, Isaia owns over half the chips in play with 1.025 million to Buchman's 385,000.
