Mizzi Increases

Nivel 6

Limit Hold'em

The player in the UTG +1 position raised from under the gun and the action folded around to Sorel Mizzi who re-raised from the cutoff. The button and blinds got out of the way and the UTG +1 player called, making it heads-up to the flop of {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

The UTG +1 player led out, Mizzi raised and the UTG +1 player called bfore check-calling Mizzi's bets on the turn of the {6-Clubs} and the river {8-Clubs}, showing down {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} but was no good against Mizzi's {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. With the hand complete, Mizzi is now up to 32,000.

Chippy Chips

Juanda Gone

While making our rounds we found John Juanda all in on a {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop. Juanda held {A-Clubs}{7-Spades} for ace high while his opponent had {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a set of fours. Juanda would need running cards to save him. He received no help as the turn came the {K-Diamonds} and the river blanked out with a {10-Clubs}

Dig Up! Dig Up!

Limit Hold'em

We swung by Jeff Lisandro's table, where our field reporter caught the tail-end of a board that read {K-Spades}{9-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}. A player had tabled {A-}{K-}, but discovered that Jeff Lisandro had snatched the pot away from him on the river with {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to double up to more than 14,000.

"I dug myself a hole and now I've got myself out," Lisandro said with a sigh of relief.

Additional Players Whose Tournament Lives Have Expired

Lew Loses it All

Limit Hold'em

Our field reporter picked up the action on a flop that read {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} from the moment the player in the small blind opened the betting; Randy Lew raised and the player on the button called before the small blind re-raised.

Lew called all-in for 1,700 and the button also called, then the small blind led out on both the turn of the {5-Clubs} and the river {4-Clubs}. The button called each time, but mucked after the small blind player showed {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. Lew flipped up his {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and walked away.

Negreanu Doubles Again

No Limit Hold'em

We missed the action, but saw that Negreanu was able to double up through Tom Marchese while holding {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} against Marchese's {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} on a board of {10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

Binger Doubles

No Limit Hold'em

The action folded to Matt Woodward who raised to 650 before the flop; Nick Binger re-raised all-in 4,450 from the hijack but both were then faced with a four-bet from the button. Woodward got out of the way and the cards were tabled:

Binger: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Button: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

Neither hand improved on the board of {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Binger doubled up to more than 10,000 in chips.

Ship It To Schoenberg

No Limit Hold'em

Erica Schoenberg made it 700 preflop from under the gun and was called by the player in the cutoff. The flop came {4-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Schoenberg bet out 1,000. Her opponent raised the action to 2,600. Schoenberg wouldn't be that easily swayed, however, choosing to three-bet to 6,000. Her opponent four-bet shoved all in and Schoenberg quickly called.

Schoenberg: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
Opponent: {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}

Schoenberg was ahead with her aces and stayed that way when the turn came {5-Hearts} and the river the {4-Hearts}. Schoenberg was able to send one to the rail and scoop a massive pot.
