Smith Doubles Through Oulmekki

From under the gun, Gavin Smith open-shoved for 302,000 and the action folded around to Selim Oulmekki, who snap-called out of the small blind. "What, you have something like eight-deuce?" Smith quipped.

Nope. Oulmekki showed {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, ahead of Smith's {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. However, Smith was able to spike two pair on the board of {3-Hearts}{J-Spades}{Q-Spades}{A-Spades}{4-Spades} to double up.

Mike Meyers - 13th Place ($36,143)

Mike Meyers, Andy Philachack and John Borzio all went to a flop of {7-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {3-Clubs}. Philachack checked, Meyers bet 137,000 and Borzio folded.

Philachack looked Meyers dead in the eye and said, "I'm gonna raise you Mikey." Philachack slid out a 500,000 stack of greens. Meyers quickly shoved and Philachack called as quick.

Meyers: {J-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}
Philachack: {7-Clubs} {6-Clubs}

Philacheck was ahead with his two pair but Meyers was drawing live. The turn came {Q-Clubs} and the river came {10-Spades}. Meyers quickly collected his things while his rail stood in stunned silence. Philachack is cracked 3,000,000 with that pot.

Steven Michaelis Eliminated in 14th Place ($36,143)

Steven Michaelis - 14th Place ($36,143)

All the money was in the middle before the flop; Bryan Paris found himself in the lead holding {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} against Steven Michaelis' {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}, but a very scary flop of {7-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{4-Clubs} was spread, giving Michaelis a boatload of outs, and he caught a few more with the turn of the {6-Spades}.

However, the {Q-Diamonds} bricked out on the river and Paris' supporters celebrated as Michaelis walked away. We're now down to 13 players.

Jani Mikkola Eliminated in 15th Place ($36,143)

Jani Mikkola - 15th Place ($36,143)

The action folded to Selim Oulmekki who raised to 52,000 from the hijack position before Jani Mikkola shoved from the button. James Boyle went deep into the tank in the small blind and eventually had the clock called on him. Boyle's hand was counted out; Oulmekki quickly called.

Mikkola: {A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Oulmekki: {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The flop was a demoralizing {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to give Oulmekki two pair, which surprised even him and his rail! The turn and river ran out {K-Diamonds}, {Q-Spades} and that was the end of Mikkola's run. He'll pick up $36,143 for his 15th place finish.
