Failla Falls

Nivel 14 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Will Failla open-raised all in from the hijack seat with his last 44,000, and his neighbor in the cutoff -- also short-stacked -- announced he was all in as well. The others folded, Failla showed {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and his opponent {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}.

"Keep it low," said Failla to the dealer. "Wheel it out." Alas for Failla, the cards didn't cooperate, coming {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} to double up his opponent. A count afterwards showed Failla had him just covered, leaving him just 4,100 for the next hand.

All of those chips went in for Failla on the next hand on the strength of his {K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, and the same opponent reraised to isolate with {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}. The board went {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and Failla doubled back to about 9,000.

Failla failed on the next attempt to double-up, however, and has hit the rail here at the start of Level 14.
