Identity Confirmed!

Nivel 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

We have an identity on our bombastic "Mr. Hipster"! He is confirmed as being Michael Winnett aka "Squeaky". Rumor around the press box is that he's been cited with penalties in WPT events in the past for his brash, pompous comments and behavior at the table. Here at PokerNews we witnessed two hands take place over the course of about fifteen minutes from play being slowed down by consistent bickering at the table.

Winnett made a raise preflop, was three-bet by Darin Thomas, and Bryan Pimlott four-bet the action. Winnett and Thomas made the call, but not before constant bickering over the amount in the pot. Winnett accused others of acting slow and not putting enough chips in while players were still reaching for their chips and was then accused of not having the correct amount in the pot himself. The dealer attempted to maintain order at the table but it was hard to keep his composure with constant yelling and badgering from the players, namely Winnett. Eventually the floor was called and continued to keep watch for the next two hands.

The flop fell {9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. The action checked around to Pimlott who led out. The bet was called by both Winnett and Thomas and we were off to the turn. The {10-Spades} turned and the action once again went check-check to Pimlott. As Pimlott went to move chips in the middle, Winnett beat him into the pot which made Pimlott stop in his tracks and contemplate his action. Eventually and peculiarly enough as the action was checked to him, Pimlott decided to muck his cards. Everyone at the table was a bit taken aback by this action and naturally Winnett was the most vocal about it. Regardless, we were off to the river with two players.

The {4-Spades} hit the river and Winnett led out with a bet, trying to take control of this hand. After shaking his head and laughing to himself, Thomas decided to make the call. Winnett flipped up {Q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for air, causing an elated Thomas to flip over {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for merely a pair of sixes, but the winning hand regardless.

"I knew you had that! I knew you had that hand! I know where you are!" Thomas exclaimed as he scooped a massive pot.

An already seemingly furious Michael "Squeaky" Winnett raised the very next hand, not being able to let go of Pimlott mucking with the action checked to him. He continued berating the move to the rail and even seemingly to himself. Not letting these words get to him, Pimlott made the of Winnett's raise from the button. The big blind called as well.

The flop fell {Q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and the big blind checked to Winnett who fired a bet. Pimlott quickly called and the big blind called as well. The {5-Spades} came on the turn and the big blind started the action by firing out a bet. Winnett raised and Pimott three-bet from the button, leaving him with 5,500 behind. The big blind, shocked at this action eventually mucked his cards. Winnett four-bet the action, putting Pimlott all in and the cards were turned over.

Winnett: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}
Pimlott: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}

Fortune was smiling on Pimlott this hand as the {K-Diamonds} drilled the river, giving him a winning straight.

There were still discrepancies with how many chips were in the middle and the floor had to tell Winnett several times to let the dealer do his job without berating him and yelling amounts out.

"You guys just don't know how to count. It's crazy. It's unbelievable but none of you can count. I don't get it" said Winnett as he shuffled his chips around, stinging from the loss.

We'll keep you updated on the status of table #372 as the drama continues to build in this $1,500 Limit Hold'em event!
