Lehavot and Stein Battle in Big Pot

Action folded to Amir Lehavot in the small blind and he made it 75,000 to go. Sam Stein defended in the big blind and the duo watched the flop come down {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. Lehavot led out for another 75,000, and again Stein made the call.

The dealer slowly burned and turned the {9-Spades}, at which point Lehavot check-called a bet of 115,000. Lehavot then checked the {8-Hearts} river and Stein bet 245,000. Lehavot eyed his opponent's stack but then settled on making the call. Stein confidently turned over {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for two pair, but was soon stunned as Lehavot rolled over {K-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a higher two pair.

Lehavot Moves Some Big Chips

Nivel 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

On the button Stephen Chidwick opened for 60,000, Amir Lehavot called from the small blind and Sam Stein called from the big blind. The flop fell {Q-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {6-Spades}, Lehavot checked, Stein checked and Chidwick bet 105,000. Both Lehavot and Stein called.

The turn came {2-Diamonds} which prompted Lehavot to slide a large stack of 25,000 chips - 19 of them to exact - then added a couple 5,000 chips to make the bet 495,000. Stein and Chidwick both folded and Lehavot added almost 400,000 to his stack.

Amir Lehavot raised to 65,000 in the cutoff and Sam Stein called on the button.

The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Lehavot made a contination bet of 85,000. Stein raised to 210,000, but Lehavot wasn't done with the pot just yet. He made it 465,000 total. Stein though for a minute before calling, landing the {A-Hearts} on the turn. Lehavot slowed down with a check, leading to a bet of 310,000 from Stein.

"Pot," said Lehavot.

That was not what Stein wanted to hear, as he spent the next four minutes in the tank before giving it up.

Stein Takes Some From Solomon

Nivel 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Jarred Solomon raised to 65,000 in the cutoff and Sam Stein defended his big blind.

The flop fell {K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Stein check-called 70,000 from Solomon. The {10-Hearts} turn was checked by both and when the {J-Spades} hit the river, Stein bet 105,000. Solomon paid him off, but was unhappy to see Stein table {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Solomon flashed what looked to be {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and saw the pot pushed in Stein's direction.

Stein upped his stack to about 1.9 million, while Solomon slipped to about 2.55 million.

Solomon Leaves His Seat, Hand Mucked

Nivel 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Amir Lehavot opened to 60,000 on the button and Sam Stein called from the small blind. Jarred Solomon was the big blind but was not in his seat as the dealer finished dealing the cards. The tournament supervisor declared Solomon's hand dead and Lehavot and Stein were off to the flop.

The flop came {7-Spades} {3-Hearts} {10-Spades} and both players checked. They both checked again on the {J-Clubs} turn. When the {6-Diamonds} came on the river Stein bet 80,000. Lehavot called, but then mucked when Stein showed {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts}.

Tommy Vinas Eliminated in 5th Place ($150,453)

Tommy Vinas- 5th Place
Tommy Vinas- 5th Place

Jarred Solomon raised to 70,000 under the gun and Tommy Vinas looked him up from the button. Solomon led right out with a 75,000 bet on the {9-Spades}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades} flop, which Vinas raised to 275,000. Solomon thought for a moment before announcing, "Pot." The three-bet was for a huge 735,000!

Vinas didn't take long before moving all in for a couple hundred thousand more and Solomon made the call.

Solomon: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Vinas: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

It was a brutal set-over-set flop that saw Vinas on the bad end of things. "Spade, spade," Vinas pleaded as he looked to his rail in resignation. The {8-Hearts} turn ensured that there would be no chop. It was down to the river for Vinas, who needed the case seven to stay alive. The {8-Clubs} was close, but not quite what he needed. Vinas was eliminated in fifth place and will take home $150,453 for his efforts.

Nicolas Levi - 6th place

Amir Lehavot opened to 65,000 and Nicolas Levi three-bet to 200,000. Lehavot announced pot, which was enough to for Levi to go all in. With all the chips in the middle the hands were tabled:

Lehavot: {A-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}
Levi: {7-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}

An ace in the window gave Lehavot the lead and the board ran {A-Clubs} {5-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {4-Spades}. Levi made his way to the rail and Lehavot was up to 2,400,000.
