Obrestad Finds Callers, Still Short-Stack
Annette Obrestad only had 1,000 chips and put it in the pot in early position. Jason Mercier raised to 5,100. Sam Stein called from the button, Nicholas Levi called from the small blind and Beth Shak called from the big blind.
With five players going to the flop, and Obrestad's main pot at 5,000, the flop came . Levi and Shak both checked, Mercier bet 8,700, Stein called and the blinds got out of the way. The turn came and both active players checked. The river brought a 13,800 bet from Mercier.
Stein tanked for a few moments and asked Merceir, "What do you have behind? I want to know, I 'm not gonna raise you." Which brought laughs from the table. Stein called and all players tabled their hands.
