The {K-Spades} landed on the turn, and Sylvia checked. Balsiger checked behind.

The river was the {Q-Spades}, and Sylvia reached for chips. He bet 9.4 million, and Balsiger had a decision. After about 30 seconds, Balsiger called.

Sylvia turned over the {J-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a missed flush draw, and Balsiger won the pot with a rivered two pair holding the {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}.

Jesse Sylvia had the button to start this hand. He folded, and Jake Balsiger limped in from the small blind. Greg Merson raised to three million from the big blind, then Balsiger reraised to eight million. Merson reraised to 14.5, creating quite the pot preflop.

Action was now back on Balsiger, but he couldn't stand the heat and folded his hand. Merson scooped the pot.
