Wrong Time for a Bluff

Nivel 39 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Daniel Trunk, holding J8, decided to raise to 1,700,000 from the button. In the big blind, Przemyslaw Szymanski called with K4.

Trunk was thrilled when the flop came down JJ6, giving him trips. He led out with a bet of 1,000,000, but Szymanski surprised him with a check-raise to 2,800,000. Trunk opted to call, intrigued by the action.

The turn brought the A, prompting Szymanski to check once more. Trunk seized the moment and fired a bet of 3,500,000, which ultimately led Szymanski to fold, conceding the hand to Trunk.

Two Pairs Are Enough

Nivel 39 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Daniel Trunk picked up KQ on the button and decided to take control of the hand with a raise to 1,700,000. In the small blind, Rostyslav Sabishchenko looked down at AJ and opted to go all in, putting Trunk to the test. Trunk quickly made the call, eager to see the showdown.

The flop came down J9A, giving Sabishchenko two pairs and putting him in a commanding position. Trunk was looking for a ten to complete his straight, but the turn and river brought 6 and 7, neither of which helped his hand. With that, Sabishchenko successfully doubled up, solidifying his stack.

Sabishchenko Fires Into Szymanski

Nivel 39 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Przemyslaw Szymanski raised his button to 1,700,000 with A10. Rostyslav Sabishchenko looked down at K4 in the big blind and made the call.

Both players then checked through the flop of 7J9 before Sabishchenko fired 1,600,000 on the 8 turn.

Szymanski just called with his straight, seeing the J arrive on the river. Sabishchenko piled in another 3,000,000 chips, but this time Szymanski raised to 11,000,000.

A quick fold followed from Sabishchenko's king-high as he left himself with ten big blinds.

Sabishchenko Scores Crucial Double Up

Nivel 38 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

From under the gun, Daniel Trunk opened the action with a raise to 1,300,000, holding a strong QQ. Rostyslav Sabishchenko, sitting with 5,700,000 in chips, saw his opportunity and pushed all in with A9. Trunk quickly called, setting up a showdown.

The flop came J104, not doing much to change the situation, with Trunk’s queens still in the lead. However, the turn brought the crucial A, giving Sabishchenko top pair and flipping the script.

Now needing a queen or king to knock Sabishchenko out, Trunk anxiously awaited the river. But luck wasn't on his side, as the J hit, sealing Sabishchenko's double-up and keeping his tournament run alive.
