Antonio Menga Eliminated in 7th Place (€25,700)
Nivel 36
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Antonio Menga, sitting on the button, decided to go all in for 2,700,000 with his hand of A♠8♦. In the big blind, Daniel Trunk, the dominant stack at the table, requested a count before making the call with K♣9♣.
The flop revealed J♥9♠10♦, giving both players the potential for a straight, but Trunk held the edge with a pair of nines.
Things took a dramatic turn when Menga hit the A♣ on the turn, solidifying his lead and leaving Trunk with limited outs. However, the excitement wasn’t over just yet. The river brought the Q♥, completing Trunk's straight and sending Menga to the rail as he exited the tournament.
