Kenjic's Honest Royal Flush

Nivel 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jovan Kenjic
Jovan Kenjic

Jessica Teusl kicked things off with a raise to 4,000 from middle position, and Jovan Kenjic in the small blind called.

On the flop of K42, Teusl continued with a bet of 3,000, which Kenjic check-called.

Both players checked when the Q hit on the turn.

Then came the J on the river. Kenjic looked at Teusl and said,"I’ll be honest, I have a straight flush."
After a quick glance at his cards, he corrected himself: "No, a royal flush. If I bet, will you call?" Teusl replied, "I’ll pay."

Kenjic led out with a small bet of 2,000, and Teusl honored her word by calling.

When Kenjic revealed A10, he wasn't lying—he indeed had a royal flush. Teusl chuckled, saying, "Good thing you corrected yourself because I had the nine of clubs and wouldn’t have believed you and get myself in trouble"

Saliba Versus Alt

Nivel 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With three players seeing a board of Q39 and around 9,000 in the middle, Vivian Saliba bet 5,500 from the big blind, forcing a fold from Carlo Savinelli in early position before Dinesh Alt made the call from the button.

On the 4 river Saliba fired another barrel for 7,500 and once again was called by Alt.

Saliba could only show a missed gutshot with KJ while Alt turned over second pair with K9 to take the pot.

Pardo Literally has a Chip and a Chair

Nivel 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jorge Pardo had become incredibly shot-stacked with just 200 remaining. He put them across the line from the cutoff, and Kevin Fluegel shoved from the button for 15,000. Paul Runcan was going bounty hunting from the big blind as he made the call to put both at risk.

Jorge Pardo: AJ All in
Kevin Fluegel: A6
Paul Runcan: Q6

There was no help for Runcan on the A4JJ8 runout, and he would have to wait until the next hand to go bounty hunting. Pardo hit a boat and moved up to a stack of 1,000, and Fluegel doubled up through Runcan.

Ko Flushes Out Drusca

Nivel 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
David Dongwoo Ko
David Dongwoo Ko

With two players seeing a board of A4J and around 20,000 already in the middle, Stefan Drusca bet 6,500 from the hijack and David Dongwoo Ko made the call from the button.

On the 5 river Drusca moved all in for a bit under 30,000 and Ko snap-called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Stefan Drusca: AK All in
David Dongwoo Ko: 109

Drusca had top pair but Ko was well ahead with a turned flush, needing only to fade a fourth spade to secure the elimination. The 10 river changed nothing for either player and Drusca was sent to the rail while Ko continued adding chips to his stack.

With around 24,000 in the middle on a flop of 959, Jessica Teusl checked from under the gun and Jovan Kenjic bet 3,500 from the cutoff. Teusl called.

Both players checked the 10 turn and Q river. Teusl confidently turned over 33 for an underpair, which was good as Kenjic mucked his hand
