Chidwick Turns Top Pair
Nivel 7
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Kristen Foxen J♣8♣ made it 22,000 from the cutoff, and her husband Alex Foxen A♣J♠ called from the button. Stephen Chidwick K♥9♥ then came along from the small blind.
Neither player connected on the 7♣5♠2♠ flop, and action checked through to the K♣ turn, giving Chidwick top pair. He checked before K. Foxen bet 45,000 with her flush draw. A. Foxen folded, and Chidwick called.
The J♥ river checked through to showdown and Chidwick chipped up.
