Deeb Calls Down Birgaoanu
Nivel 12
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Patrik Zidek raised to 8,000 under the gun and was called three opponents, including Shaun Deeb in the cutoff and big blind Andrei Birgaoanu.
The flop came 8♥6♦4♥ and Birgaoanu led out for 15,000. Only Deeb called to see the Q♠ turn. Birgaoanu then bet 42,000 and Deeb called once more.
The 6♣ fell on the river and Birgaoanu bet 30,000. Deeb called again and Birgaoanu showed 5♠3♥ for a missed straight draw. Deeb turned over 9♣8♣ for two pair as he took the pot.
