Velvelt Vaults Further Up the Rankings
Nivel 22
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Marco Di Persio raised to 80,000 from the hijack and Urmo Velvelt defended his big blind. Velvelt checked to Di Persio on the K♦K♥3♥ flop. Di Persio bet 70,000, which Velvelt raised to 150,000.
Di Persio called and did so too when Velvelt tossed in 225,000 on the A♠ turn. The 8♣ river saw Velvelt use two time banks before jamming all in, barely covering Di Persio's stack of 855,000.
Di Persio needed four time extensions of his own but ultimately found a fold and was left with less than 25 big blinds.
