Andrian Gets Creative With Counterfeits
Nivel 28
: Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Ran Ilani raised to 320,000 on the button after he had peeled his Q♠Q♥. Simone Andrian defended 9♣3♣ in the big blind, after which the A♦7♥3♦ flop checked through.
The 7♦ turn followed the same action before the A♠ river double-paired the board. Andrian still checked his counterfeited pair and Ilani tossed in a bet of 400,000.
Andrian then grabbed a couple of pink T-500,000 chips and made a raise to 2,500,000. Ilani spent some time thinking time but ultimately decided to fold his pocket queens as the best hand hit the muck.
